Uploaded files are parsed in memory during the analysis request and never written to disk or object storage. Only the extracted numbers and AI commentary are saved to your account. You can delete any analysis — or wipe all of your data — instantly from Settings.

You do. Plainledger acts as a data processor on your behalf: we don't claim ownership of client financial data, we don't use it to train models, and we don't sell or share it. You can export a full JSON copy of your account any time.

If we ever wind the service down, we'll give at least 60 days' written notice, keep exports and PDF downloads working through that window, and refund any unused prepaid annual balance. Your analyses are portable JSON — you always leave with your work.

We extract line items directly from your file — no rounding, no substitution. AI insights are generated from those extracted numbers. Always cross-check against your source document before making financial decisions.

Every successful analysis of a file counts as one upload. The Free plan includes 3 uploads per calendar month. Sample data on the Analyze page and the landing-page demo do not count toward your monthly limit.

The first 25 Business customers get 50% off ($39.50/month) for their first 3 billing cycles. After 3 months, the subscription automatically reverts to the standard $79/month. The intro discount applies to the monthly Business plan only — Pro stays at a flat $29/month and annual plans already include their own ~17% discount. Cancel any time — no lock-in.

Yes — paid plans cancel from Settings → Billing. Your account stays active until the end of the current billing period.

We offer a 30-day refund for first-time subscribers. Email support@plainledger.org and we'll process it within 3 business days.
