About Plainledger

I started Plainledger because I wanted to solve a problem. Then the problem became personal.

Someone close to me runs a business. They kept putting money into it, but they couldn't see it coming back out. They knew something was wrong somewhere. They just had no way to tell where.

That's when I realized they weren't the only one. A lot of business owners are working hard, spending money, and guessing, because the numbers they do have were written for accountants, not for them.

So I built this for business owners first. Upload a statement and Plainledger tells you, in plain language, what's working, what's off, and where to look next. Nobody should have to wonder what's wrong with their own business.
